Chromie - A quick talent overview with Khroen

Tue 24th May 2016 - 8:30pm Heroes of the Storm

Chromie, the keeper of time, is a ranged assassin brand new to Heroes of the Storm.

At first glance, Chromie appears to be an ordinary gnome. In truth, she is Chronormu, Bronze Dragon and a master of time. Chromie is a long ranged mage who delivers devastating blows and manipulates time.

Ultimate Ability Descriptions
Temporal Loop – You want to use Temporal Loop to always set up a kill, you can potentially burst someone down singlehandedly, or set up a easy kill target for your team to follow up on with any form of damage or CC.
You can use this ability to make plays very often and don’t be scared to use it to create pressure, you have a ton of free damage at your disposal provided the abilities land (Which you do have to get used to at first with chromie).

Slowing Sands – This ultimate is undervalued as it does provide wonderful zone control, however I feel as though Temporal Loop is a more reliable ultimate to be impactful with. Slowing Sands has a lot of value against Melee heroes to force them to either retreat or walk through a massive slow and be more susceptible to your teammates. It can also be used to split enemy teams but careful of placing it down and just having the enemy walk around it for free and have 0 value.

Don’t be scared to leave it up through a choke point because Chromie can pretty much have it constantly up and lose no mana, and the mana costs for her abilities aren’t too taxing to begin with. However do remember to cancel it after a fight or if you know you’ll need to re place it.
